A sub-rectangular enclosure defined by a stony bank, the earthwork contained a rectangular building reduced to its footings. Discovered from the air by the OS in 1956, it had been erased by ploughing when inspected by the Royal Commission in 1974. From its location and the description of 1956, it was classified as a possible moated site. (Spurgeon)
