A mound in Old Hunstanton Churchyard was excavated in 1900. The mound itself was apparently a natural feature but contained human skeletal remains. Amongst these was an adult inhumation, interpreted by the excavators as a post medieval suicide. (PastScape)
In the church, at the north-east corner of the chancel, is a tumulus. (Blomefield)
