A projecting tongue of land has been cut by a ditch. The W end seems to have been scarped and the ditch upcast used to build up the E end. Probably motte associated with Ednyfed Fychan. (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)

Gatehouse Comments

Suggested as Welsh castle of Ednyfed Fychan (d. 1246). Sited in valley close to road and suggested as taxation point.
