A sub-circular, or oval embanked enclosure, c.30m internal diameter, obscured by recent features on the N. Thought to be an unrecorded medieval castle. (Coflein)

1km west of Leckwith church; the remains of an eroded castle-ringwork (RCAHMW 1991, 85-6 CR3), defined by a bold scarp with faint traces of a crowning bank and external ditch which define an enclosure some 30m in diameter with a pronounced angle to the SE. Farmhouse may occupy site of former bailey (Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust HER)
