Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust record, dated 2001, of ? motte reads 'Shadow marks of eliptical enclosure c.0.72ha on knoll above Priest Weston visible on AP's. May be associated with DMV SW of Miner's Arms.'

Gatehouse Comments

Very steep hillside location, not likely castle site. The more recent 2010 CPAT record just records as Iron Age defended enclosure.
