In Cwm-Tydwr are the foundations of some buildings, which, according to tradition, are the remains of the old castellated mansion of the Tudors. (Lewis 1849)

Nothing like this recorded in CARN database but presumably somewhere near Park Hall at given map reference. Does seem to be an entirely reasonable location for a hunting lodge.
