Name suggestive of a mound. No further details. This site is in a flat flood plain field so this is an unlikely location for a Motte. (CPAT Tir Gofal assessment, 2003). (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)

Gatehouse Comments

Near Llandinam Hall and by road in river flood plain. A position for a glacial mound but may possibly have been used a castle. Any feature likely to have been ploughed and flooded out long ago. There are also spoil tips in the nearby area.
