Vestidual remains of a sub-circular embanked enclosure, c.30m in diameter, with traces of an irregular outer enclosure, c.60m E-W by 45m, on the W. A possible castle site. (Coflein)

A ringwork & bailey situated upon a slight rise of ground within pasture fields. Situated on a slight rise of ground. Ringwork 40.0m across overall; earth and stone bank is best preserved on the east and south east. Bailey lies to W 60m E-W x 50m. Site recorded as 'near destroyed' after a curatorial site visit by GGAT in May 2007. (Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust HER)
