An oval earthwork enclosure, about 30m north-west to south-east by 24m, defined by a rampart and ditch, set on low ground, close by a stream channel. (Coflein–as undated defended enclosure)

Dyfed Archaeological Trust HER records as, ?Medieval Motte.

The position has no stategic value and does not seem to be a manorial centre. Unlikely castle, possibly a homestead moat?
