The following feature was mapped from poor quality air photographs:-

Possible enclosure of unknown date, seen as earthworks.

Morphological description: an incomplete, oval enclosure, defined by 2 ditches, centred at SO 2869 4917. The external dimensions of this enclosure are 75m by 70m and the inner enclosure is 33m across. (Morph No. MU.130.1.1). (PastScape)

Gatehouse Comments

Gatehouse suspects a misuse of the term 'ringwork' in the Herefordshire HER when 'ring ditch' was meant. Nothing to suggest a pair of medieval ringwork castles.
