Identified by field worker E.A. Price in 1976. Classified in PastScape as a 'U' mound. Nothing marked at given reference on 1886 or modern OS map. Nothing obvious on air photo. Is the given map reference correct? Most unlikely to be a motte, at this location, in what must have been marshland in the medieval period.
