A very large artificial ditched mound, possibly flat topped with steep sides can be seen at this spot. This may be a barrow, small motte or potentially a spoil heap from surrounding small pits. (Norfolk HER)

Rejected in Norfolk HER as spoilheap and by Gatehouse on the grounds that a report of 'very large' mound, without giving some actual measurement, is unreliable.
