Hunting lodge and attached walls in Blenheim Park. Constructed c 1768 by Capability Brown on the site of a Medieval hunting lodge. In use as a house at time of listing.

Hunting lodge, now house. c.1768, by Capability Brown. Observation made during refurbishment revealed no trace of the medieval High Lodge supposed to have existed here. Core of building appeared to be single phased with later additions. It is probable that the present structure existed as a new wing added in 1706 to the now demolished Civil War High Lodge. Gatehouse Comments
