Subcircular or oval enclosure is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The date of the enclosure is uncertain, but it is very similar in appearance to a Medieval ringwork 1000m to the north, known as Castell Brogyntyn. (PastScape record apparently based on 1948 aerial photo and not otherwise cited.)
