Only Beddington in OS place-name gazetteer is in London (previously Surrey), this was the site of manor house of the Carews, forfeited to Henry VIII. Deddington is listed by Harvey but it may be possible, given Harvey was collating his list form many varied sources, that this is a mis-spelt duplication.
