The ruins of a 'stonehouse' or bastle (Hadcock 1939) are recorded at Bradley in 1541. Foundations of considerable buildings may still be traced. (Tomlinson 1902)
Bradley is an 18th/19th century farmhouse. There are no apparent remains of a bastle in its fabric, or in the immediate vicinity (F1 ECW 05-DEC-1966). (Northumberland HER)
