This is the site of a small castle, built here in 1202. It was last mentioned in 1753, and no remains can be seen today. (Keys to the Past)
Towers, at least two. One completed and destroyed. Possible mention of two, taken 1385. Nothing mentioned 1415; two little towers 1541; later one mentioned, destroyed between 1753 and 1852. Sites probably in NT/sq 9952. (King 1983)
