Ploughed down remains of mound in centre of field, 43 yds NW of churchyard wall, described as mound and moat. Remains of mound visible as light mark, surrounded by dark rectangular cropmark. Rees shows unfortified manor house. No trace on ground. (Herefordshire SMR)

Gatehouse Comments

Possible ringwork, now mainly ploughed out. Report of stonework when ploughed. Position is consistent with castle with church in possible bailey.
