Circular enclosure of uncertain date has been considered as castle site but now assessed as a henge. (Salter)

Earthwork called the camp. Nearly 2.5 miles NW of the church. Consists of circular enclosure 46yds diam, surrounded by a dry ditch with traces of outer bank to the S half. Reassessment of this site from recent aerial photographs suggests it is a henge. (Herefordshire Through Time)

The earthwork remains of a circular enclosure of date known as The Camp. The site is defined by a single ditch with an outer bank. The enclosed area is circa 40m in diameter. It is included by Harding and Lee in their henge gazetteer, although they argue that it is unlikely to be a henge, and suggest a Medieval date, as do other sources. (PastScape)

Gatehouse Comments

Not a castle and not a henge. Is on springline and is probably a farmstead of some sort.
