Gatehouse Comments

Tailbert is the farm centered in this grid square. Rejected by Jackson. Sited in minor valley on edge of highland in position on no apparent strategic value and probably of low economic worth. There are a number of clearance cairns in the area. The site presuambly within grid square NY5314. The given location is that of Tailbert Farm but this is given merely as a convenient location and should be taken as a suggestion this was the site of whatever the alleged 'castle' was.
