Earthwork entitled 'Old Castle'. A possible castle site. (PastScape).

Gatehouse Comments

Was marked on older editions of OS maps, but no longer marked. In Jackson's reject list. Not a likely position for a castle but possibly location for a hunting lodge, although this must, most likely, represent some for of prehistoric work or, possible, a early modern folly.
