In his list of castles in Cumberland Harvey has "Milton" as an intact castle.

Gatehouse Comments

King thought it might be Millom, although Harvey does list Millom (however it maybe Harvey in collating early sources hadn't seen this as a synonym.). However it is also possible Harvey meant Milton Hall. Milton Hall is an early C19 house, now a partial ruin, but with no earlier history known to Gatehouse.
