Cannot be located as a tower symbol on the 1590 map. Shown as a house with two gables on the 1607 platt.

King lists this as a tower or bastle, on the evidence of the 1590 map!

Presumably nothing to see. Survey needed to locate the exact site. (Perriam and Robinson 1998)

Gatehouse Comments

The house shown on the 1590 (as 'Ro Forster') is probably Stonegarthside Hall.
