Nothing known of castle mentioned by Harvey as in Lincolnshire.

Gatehouse Comments

Topclyve is a varient spelling of Topcliffe a manor in Yorkshire with a well known castle, Maiden's Bower (SE410750), not listed by Harvey. Harvey does mis-locate castles in other counties at times. Presumably this actually refers to Topcliffe.
