Tomen Cefncoch is a ditched mound, 39m in diameter and 7.0m high, with a summit diameter of 10m. The ditch, 5.0m across, is best preserved on the W. There is no trace of a bailey, although a subrectangular banked enclosure is set rather to the NE. (Coflein)

Motte base diameter 39m, summit diamter 10m, height 7m, ditch 1.4m deep and 5m wide, best preserved on west side. No visible trace of bailey but slight bank in adjoining fields may be associated. (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)
