Tree mount, was misleading called motte by Matthew Emmott, although not identified as such.

Gatehouse Comments

Not in PastScape or Cumbrian HER as any form of antiquity or monument. Gatehouse suspects this was a tree mount where young trees were protected from grazing animals by being planted on a dry wall revetted mound.
