This old farmhouse was abandoned in the early C20 and a new one built nearby. All that survives are the outlines of the walls covered in turf. The building measures about 8.85m long by 5.9m wide and the south wall measures nearly 1m thick. It has been suggested that it may be the ruins of a late C16 or early C17 bastle.
