Site of a tower built in the C15 by the Middletons. It had a Barmekyn, vaulted basement, corbelled turret, moat and mural stairs. It was later extended to form a mansion, which was ruinous by 1930, but restored after sale in that year. There is a WC built within the old Garderobe, the plumbing concealed within the old chute.
