Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust record of ? motte reads '"Tump" placename suggestive of a mound, but none noted (RCAHM 1913). No such features noted by CPAT (CPAT site visit 1979).'

Tump (6 in. Ord. Surv. sheet, Rad. 33 S.E. ; lat. 52° 6' 38", long. 3° 9' 17"). Tithe Survey, No. 896.—Visited, 4th March, 1913. may be entirely natural (RCAHMW)
