Name Broney castle given to 2 adjoining fields on a steep slope. There are no signs of any artificial earthworks here. (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)

Gatehouse Comments

Nothing on map or obvious on aerial photo. Site not typical for motte and more likely to be barrow if given location is correct. However, this is valley on the border and small mottes in untypical locations are not totally unknown in this area.
