Salter reports a vanished castle mound. No source given and no such feature is recorded in the Powys SMR. Possibly a confused reference.

This is one of three farms adjacent farms Pytingwyn, Pytindu and Pytinglas (Pytin white, black and green) probably part of one manor of a Poitevin knight of Bernard Newmarch (see Peytivins Castle for references)
