There is no 'Llanddywy' The obvious alternative spelling is Llanddewi and there is a Llandewi Brefi in Cardiganshire which was the reported site of a early church convocation and where bishop Thomas Beck founded a college in 1187. Alternatively this is a mislocated refence to Llanddewi, Port Eynon in Glamorgan or a very garbled mispelling of Llandygwdd, Cardigan which was also a manor and lordship of the bishops. The given map reference is for the parish church, built by Bishop Beck, which any residential manor must have been close to.
