Ringwork: Boat shaped earthwork on top of hill by Badger Slade. External ditch, internal bank more obvious at west end. Given as 'old encampment' on plan of 1745. Evaluation of 1997 failed to find internal features, so possibly it was some kind of livestock (deer?) coral. (Staffs HER).
