A large circular bank and possible ditch with a central feature are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The feature has been interpreted as the remains of a medieval castle. The aerial photo on file shows white circle as of massive ploughed out bank, possible inner ditch (but no outer) and central feature presumably thought to be a keep by R.R. Clarke (NCM). However the feature is similar to natural features nearby; yet it seems significant that the south field boundary bends round it. (Norfolk HER)
