An early 19th century farmhouse with an older core. Built of coursed stone with Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, and a concrete porch. A boulder plinth at the east end probably indicates that the house was reconstructed out of a bastle house (Grundy 1987). (Northumberland HER)
