Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust record of ? ringwork reads 'Sub circular univallate enclosure some 100m diameter probable outer ditch (CPAT AP 1977). Gap on SE probable annexe or out-work to NW (CPAT AP 1977) at SO16916845 and SO16996849 noted as cross ridge dykes'

Clearly an Iron Age hill fort with no suggestion or evidence of medieval use.
