A sub-circular ditched mound, 16.5-18.5m in diameter and 0.8m high, 30-31m overall diameter. Described as a motte by the RCAHMW, with traces of a bailey on the NE. Recent disturbances have produced the impression of a causeway. Charcoal, mortar and coke from the mound, with reports of 'iron balls', suggest a comparatively recent date. (Coflein)
A very small motte with possible traces of a bailey. (Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust HER)
