                This site has been considered by some writers to be a castle but is rejected as such by Hogg and King. Recorded in Coflein as unassigned enclosure of unknown date. The Dyfed Archaeological Trust HER reports 'The shape and size suggest the possibility that this is a Roman fortlet or signal station, but its situation does not.'
