Payne lists The Gatehouse Littlebury as a questionable residence of the bishop of Ely, based on the listing description of "The Gatehouse, a C16 timber framed house, is said to be on the site of the C13 house of the Bishop of Ely who was Lord of the Manor." However, this seems to have been tenanted, for a knight's fee, and not used as a residential manor.
