Mound, suggested as a possible motte in Bucks HER. 21m by 22m diameter 1.5m high. C13/C14 sherds found here. Excavations exposed foundations of a stone mill, and in the surrounding ditch were millstone, building rubble and 14c sherds. Some of the stones were reddened, suggesting destruction by fire. Considered to be C13 Mill mound. (PastScape–ref. Griffiths).
