Castle mentioned by Leland as 'a large castle'. In list of Herefordshire castles between Grosmont and Longton (Longtown).

Gatehouse Comments

Guyn may well be a corrupted version of the welsh 'Gwyn' and this castle is White Castle, Monmouthshire. Rejected as a lost unidentified castle in Herefordshire.
