Taylor mentions 'near it betwixt it and Llandinabo is a decayed house and manour now a parcel of Harewood called Elverstone or Everstone. It was approached by a long avenue of chestnuts and was perhaps defended by contiguous mound which still bears the name of Petite Haute' (Robinson) 'Petty Hought' marked to N at SO529289 (from an 1877 estate map) (Herefordshire Through Time)
