Ysgubor Gaer is a sub-oval banked enclosure, c.34m E-W by 22m, having a S-facing entrance and a possible oval/subrectangular building platform, c.9.0m in diameter, set in its NW angle. A possible counterscarp is apparent on APs on the E. Set on ground falling to the S, below steep craggy slopes crowned by Gaer Fawr, an outer circuit can be identified, defined by earthworks and current field walls, c110m overall diameter, having an inturned S-facing entrance and extending up-slope to a prominent crag above. A further circuit, c.30m beyond the above, may be indicated by a curving section of field wall to the SW. (Coflein as Iron Age defended enclosure)
