Gatehouse Comments

Site next to ruined medieval church and DMV. This site has been subject to recent field evaluation and desk based assessment by GGAT, Wessex Archaeology and Cambria Archeology. From the Medieval Archeaology report it seems there was no evidence of fortification or high status finds, but the excavation site was limited.
