Motte RCAHMW archive (No 350). Two mounds noted by Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust site visit, 1978 one of which has been quarried and subsequently infilled at base and the other of which is undisturbed. Either mound could be the motte of RCAHMW archive. (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)

Gatehouse Comments

Seems unlikely but not impossible site for castle of the knight's fee type with symbolic mound but the identification of these mounds as mottes is dubious.
