This site has been considered by some writers to be a castle but is rejected as such by Spurgeon as glacial mound. King rejects this site but also confuses it with Castell Moch Fawr This is the site that is 'merely a conspicuous piece of Riverbank' but it is not the site mentioned by Richards and Spurgeon p. 31
