An approximately circular inner enclosure with an outer enclosure with defences on north and west sides only (c0.6ha). The inner enclosure measures 12m in diameter and has a bank 0.3m high. Some remains of buildings survive within the inner enclosure. Within the outer enclosure are two medieval pillow mounds and a hut circle. Originally Iron Age in build there is a tradition of Dark Age occupation: the rectangular buildings may belong to this period. (Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust HER)
