Cropmark of possible ring work 400m north-east of Woodside, Knill. The field boundary adjacent to the site is curved and is clearly respecting a former physical feature. (Herefordshire Through Time)

Gatehouse Comments

The curved field boundary looks a bit more the reserved S bend of medieval rig and furrow to me than something respecting the slight crop mark of a ring. PastScape records rig and furrow in the area. The location, by Broadhurst Bridge, might be considered as a reasonable site for a medieval 'policing' point type castle but the actual evidence is weak.
