Small mound close to chapel which is surmounted by building. Upper part of which is used as pigeon house. May be tumulus or from situation, more probably a small castle mound (1863, Arch. Camb.). Oval shaped mound much reduced and spread by ploughing 19m diam NNE-SSW by 12m trans max height 0.4m. Would seem to have been too small for motte and no local knowledge of building.
