Gatehouse Comments

Gatehouse has not located a castle hill near Skelbrooke. Location given is the C12 parish church. 200m to the north is Skelbrooke Hall with a deer park. The location is certainly one which could have had a small castle but there is nothing to support Clark's identification, which might actually refer to Skellow Cromwell Batteries.
